Katie was incredible. She was somehow everywhere at all times during our wedding day and the photos are incredible. We were seeking a photo journalist rather than a typical wedding photographer and Katie more than captured our day. She captured all the feeling in the photos and we are overjoyed- would recommend anyone to use Katie and we might get married again just to have her take our photos.
Katie was a dream to work with, and we'd hire her again in a heartbeat. My husband and I are both pretty nervous people in front of the camera and in the spotlight, but Katie made it so easy and comfortable. We got so many beautiful shots (candid, posed, documentary style); it's like she was everywhere at once, and yet we never even clocked her presence while we enjoyed the day. She was easy to communicate with and super flexible (we had rain on our wedding day which wasn't in the plan originally and we had to make some last minute changes). Cannot say enough good things.
Katie did a great job photographing our engagement and wedding. Katie's photos are classically beautiful and far from ever-changing, and quickly out-of-style trend. Her documentary style is so true, I really feel like I'm watching a movie of the day when I look back through the album. She is perfectly kind, smart, and personable. I'm not sure how she manages to be wonderfully creative, classic, true, with a swish of whimsy all at once but she does.
Katie is an excellent communicator via email, text, and conversation; and super fun to work with in person. Our photos turned out so good, and I think the questionnaire we were given before the wedding really helped us to all be on the same page about what we thought was most important. We would highly recommend Katie to shoot your wedding, engagement photos, event, or whatever else you’re considering.
Katie is amazing. Her ability to make you comfortable in front of the camera is a true reflection of how genuine and talented she is. she would direct us with prompts to allow us to connect and be vulnerable. Her approach creates a very natural and beautiful perspective. Through her techniques she was able to capture us in candid and emotional moments that turned out so gorgeous. I have never felt more confident than seeing myself from my wedding day photos. I look at them and relive the moment in such a magical way. Katie is a true artist who will provide you with stunning and unique photos. Hands down.
